High School Spiritual Retreat
Welcome back to another school year at Contra Costa Christian! Every year, our entire high school takes a few days off from school and heads up to the Santa Cruz mountains for our Spiritual Retreat. Days are filled with scripture, worship, and free time in God's creation, and evenings consist of class competitions, capture the flag, and cabin bonding. This year, the retreat takes place at Camp Hammer in Boulder Creek from Wednesday, September 29 - Friday, October 1. The costs are included in tuition, so all parents need to do is fill out the permission and release form. Please turn the form in to the front office as soon as possible. Oregon Shakespeare Festival Trip
Calling all drama lovers! This year's trip to Ashland, Oregon for the Shakespeare Festival is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, October 22 - 24. We will be seeing Hamlet, Pride and Prejudice, and She Loves Me as well as touring the backstage of the Elizabethan Theater and relaxing in the quaint town of Ashland. There are only a few spots left, so please contact Ms. Vanden Bosch, HS English, for cost and additional information.

CCCHS Seniors Shine

35 Seniors were honored at Commencement 2010, held on June 12. The Graduation ceremony was a celebration; tinged with dignity and gratitude. The commencement address was given by Mrs. Jane Olson, beloved English teacher at CCCHS. The Salutatory Address was given by Morgan Zablocki; the Valedictory Address by Hye Jin Lim. This very gifted class earned over $750,000 in scholarships and financial aid to top colleges and universities! Following is a list of institutions that our seniors will attend next year:
