Varsity Sports

Contra Costa Christian is a member of the North Coast Section (NCS) of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and compete in the Bay Counties League of the Bay Area Conference. Contra Costa Christian also boasts a National Champion Cheerleading Team.

The primary aim of the athletic program at Contra Costa Christian High School is the spiritual and social development of the student athlete.  Through participation in athletics we hope to develop in our student-athletes positive qualities of responsibility, cooperation, respect, commitment, leadership and discipline. 

The future of Contra Costa Christian athletics looks bright.  An overall sense of school pride, and a strong commitment by the athletic staff and student-athletes to field competitive teams that we can be proud of, makes it a great time to be a part of Contra Costa Christian Athletics.

Contra Costa Christian practices and plays its home basketball and volleyball games at Tice Valley gym, swim meets at Larkey Park Swim Center and baseball and soccer on Cougar Field. Cheerleading

The award winning Contra Costa Christian cheerleaders perform their dances and cheers at Varsity high school basketball games and in local, regional and national competitions. The team recently won first place at the NCA National Championships at Knott's Berry Farm. The squad's 2006 Dance Showcase even received a write-up in the Contra Costa Times.
