CCCS Students and Staff Volunteer for Service
On April 22 and 23 the students and staff of CCCHS volunteered their time and talents for service at ten organizations across the East Bay region. The students and staff started their day with a time of singing praise songs and hearing a message from God’s Word. As a way of living out what the students and staff had just heard, small groups went out and served various organizations doing a variety of tasks. These tasks included landscaping, spackling, digging trenches, painting, cleaning, preparing food for homeless shelters, and many others. The agencies were extremely grateful to CCCHS for the time our school was able to spend with their local ministries. To complete each day, everyone gathered together to reflect on the day and to share with the entire school how they saw God at work.
