Contra Costa Christian Preschool is privileged to serve the community by providing a safe and loving environment where our program helps shepherd young children through the most influential years of their life. Our Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten and Jr-Kindergarten programs help foster good self-esteem using Biblical truths to lead the children to an understanding that they are loved unconditionally by God.

Children are guided to become socially competent in a setting where they can develop physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Large and fine motor skills are addressed daily through circle time, art, learning centers, and music/movement activities.

All students in our program are fully toilet trained and our students are:

Pre-School - 3 years old by September 1st
Pre-Kindergarten - 4 years old by September 1st
Jr-Kindergarten - 5 years old by January 31st

Kindergarten Visitation Days
We have two kindergarten visitations scheduled after the first of the year. They’ll be held from 8:45 – 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22 and Thursday, February 7. During these visitations, parents will have the opportunity to observe both the full day and the half day kindergarten classes. They’ll also get a tour of the school, meet with Mrs. Greenland, the elementary principal, and have a question and answer session with the kindergarten teachers.

In addition, there will be a kindergarten information meeting at 6.pm. prior to the All-School Open House on Thursday, January 17. This is a good evening to view all of the elementary classrooms, meet the teachers, and view student work. Please click here to find out more information.

The CCCS Fund is a way for parents, friends and school supporters to help fund programs and material purchases that directly impact the students at Contra Costa Christian. This year the CCCS Fund will support the following:

New Language Arts Curriculum
Library Resource Materials
New Elementary Spanish Program
Expanded Art Program
New Band Instruments
New Athletic Equipment and Uniforms
